The MCP connector provides 22 tools covering your full workspace:
  • List and get projects, initiatives, milestones
  • List and get tasks, risks, decisions (client-visible only)
  • List and get Expert Requests with progress updates
  • List organization members and their roles
  • Get your profile and organization memberships
All queries are automatically scoped to your organization. You only see data you have access to on the platform.
The MCP connector provides read access to most workspace data plus Expert Request management. For full interactive capabilities (AI-powered conversations, file management, organization settings), use the platform or the Kowalah Agent.

Data security

  • Organization scoped — you only see data from organizations you belong to
  • Client visibility — tasks, risks, and decisions are filtered to only show client-visible items
  • Field filtering — internal fields like Kowalah team assignments and contract values are not exposed
  • Stateless — each request is independently authenticated, nothing is cached
