Kowalah works through three connected services that build on each other. Most organizations start with an AI Impact Sprint and expand from there.

The three services

1. AI Impact Sprint

The entry point. A 2-3 week embedded engagement where Kowalah works directly with 2-3 key stakeholders in your organization. What happens:
  • Kowalah embeds with your team to identify the highest-value AI opportunities
  • Together you build 2-3 working AI solutions — Claude skills, custom GPTs, and automated workflows — tied to your strategic business metrics
  • You get board-ready proof points and internal champions who’ve experienced what AI can deliver
Why it matters: The Sprint flips the traditional sequence. Instead of a 12-week discovery phase that produces a strategy deck, you get working solutions in weeks. You can see results before committing to anything larger. Who’s involved:
  • 2-3 key stakeholders from your organization (typically people closest to the problems being solved)
  • A Kowalah specialist embedded with your team

2. Claude Change Enablement

Once the Sprint has created proof points, Claude Change Enablement scales AI transformation across your entire organization. Built on Anthropic’s Claude platform, it typically runs 6 weeks to 6 months depending on your organization’s size and ambition. What happens:
  • Training is powered by internal examples (“Here’s what Sarah in Finance built during the Sprint”) using Claude skills, Claude Code, and Claude co-work
  • A Claude Guide network is established — 5-10% of your workforce trained as internal change champions who support their colleagues
  • Governance frameworks are implemented alongside value delivery, not as a gatekeeper before it
  • Adoption is tracked and resistance is addressed proactively
Why it matters: Training alone creates excitement, but without a mechanism to act on ideas quickly, that excitement dies. Kowalah calls this the Enthusiasm Gap. Change Enablement prevents it by ensuring your people can move from “I have an idea” to “We built it” with minimal friction. Who’s involved:
  • Claude Guides selected from across your organization
  • Department leads and team managers
  • Your Kowalah partner managing the rollout

3. Kowalah Managed Services

Ongoing managed AI services. Your people submit Expert Requests and Kowalah’s specialists build custom solutions, typically within days. What happens:
  • Anyone in your organization can submit an Expert Request when they spot an opportunity for AI
  • Kowalah specialists build Claude skills, custom GPTs, AI agents, and automated workflows
  • Your organization has platform access with full visibility across projects, initiatives, and progress
  • Quarterly capability reviews ensure your AI program keeps evolving
  • New departments and teams are onboarded through specialist workshops
Why it matters: Ideas need somewhere to go, or they die. Managed Services provides a permanent mechanism for turning AI ideas into working solutions. Instead of ideas languishing in an IT backlog, they’re built and deployed within your Expert Request quota. Multiple tiers are available (Essential, Professional, Enterprise) to match your organization’s scale and needs. Who’s involved:
  • Everyone in your organization (anyone can submit a request)
  • Your named Kowalah Client Partner
  • Kowalah specialists assigned to each request

Typical engagement journey

Most organizations follow this path:
1
Sprint (weeks 1-3)
2
Kowalah embeds with key stakeholders and builds 2-3 working solutions. The organization sees what AI can deliver with real examples from their own workflows.
3
Platform deployment
4
Your organization gets access to the Kowalah platform at app.kowalah.com. Projects, initiatives, and Expert Requests are set up. Your team can see and track everything.
5
Claude Change Enablement (weeks 4-14)
6
Sprint proof points are used to power organization-wide Claude training. Claude Guides are trained. Governance is implemented. AI adoption spreads from the initial stakeholders to the broader organization.
7
Ongoing partnership
8
Kowalah Managed Services kicks in. Your organization has a continuous stream of Expert Requests being fulfilled, quarterly reviews with your Client Partner, and a platform that tracks your entire AI program.

Alternative starting points

Not every organization follows the same path:
Starting pointWhen it makes sense
Sprint onlyYou want to prove AI value before committing further
Sprint → Managed ServicesYou want ongoing delivery without a full change program
Change Enablement firstYour organization has already made the strategic decision and needs to scale
Managed Services onlyYou have an existing AI program and need ongoing expert capacity

The Enthusiasm Gap

The Enthusiasm Gap is the core problem Kowalah is designed to solve:
  1. Organizations invest in AI training
  2. People get excited and have ideas
  3. Ideas have nowhere to go — IT backlogs are full, nobody has time to build them
  4. Enthusiasm fades, people stop suggesting improvements
  5. The AI program stalls
Expert Requests break this cycle. When someone in your organization spots a workflow that AI could transform, they submit a request. Kowalah’s specialists build it. The idea goes from concept to production in days, not months.
