The three surfaces
You’ll touch up to three places depending on your role.| Surface | Where | Who it’s for | What you do |
|---|---|---|---|
| Learner app | training.kowalah.com | People attending a training day | Check in, rate yourself on the Claude Scale, take the knowledge check, give feedback, collect your certificate |
| Training in the platform | app.kowalah.com → Training | Leaders and admins | See your organization’s programmes and events, and how each cohort is progressing |
| Training reports | app.kowalah.com → Reports → Training | Leaders with reporting access | The executive dashboard: adoption, completion, ROI, and impact |
Kowalah authors the courses and builds the delivery plan for you. As a customer, you and your people use the learner app and the platform views described here. There’s nothing to set up before a training day, just turn up and scan.
How a training day flows
Your Kowalah team builds the Programme, schedules each Event (a location and dates), splits people into Groups, and adds everyone to the roster. You don’t need to do anything here.
A check-in screen in the room shows a QR code. Attendees scan it with their phone, sign in (or sign up on the spot), and land in their own group’s schedule on training.kowalah.com.
Through the day people rate themselves on the Claude Scale, work through knowledge checks, and leave feedback, all on their phone.
After the sessions, Kowalah closes out the programme. Everyone who completed their courses gets a certificate.
Key terms
Programme, Event, and Group
Programme, Event, and Group
A Programme is the overall engagement (for example, an organization-wide “AI Week”). Each Event is a single occasion under it, a location and set of dates. A Group is a cohort within an event that rotates through sessions together (for example, Consultants or Engineering).
Course, Module, and Knowledge check
Course, Module, and Knowledge check
A Course is a unit of content (for example, B1 · AI for Business). Each course has Modules (individual sessions), and each module can have a Knowledge check, a short quiz that confirms the learning landed. A course is complete when every required module’s knowledge check is passed.
Claude Scale
Claude Scale
A 1-10 self-assessment of AI capability. Learners place themselves on the scale before the course, at a mid-day check-in, and after. The lift from start to finish is the headline outcome on the dashboard.
Champion
Champion
A nominated peer who helps drive adoption in their team. Champions are tracked separately so leaders can see their activity after the day. See Champions.
Modality
Modality
How a session is taught: Facilitated, Hands-on, or Self-paced. Each shows as an icon on the learner’s schedule.
