Claude Team and Enterprise plans let workspace owners distribute plugins to every member through a plugin marketplace. Instead of each person downloading and installing the Concierge Plugins themselves, you upload the .zip files once and Kowalah’s skills show up for everyone.
Only Claude workspace Owners and Primary Owners can manage organization plugins. Your organization must also have Cowork and Skills enabled before you can create a marketplace.

Before you start

1
Confirm your Claude plan and role
2
You need a Claude Team or Enterprise plan, and you need to be an Owner or Primary Owner of the workspace.
3
Enable Cowork and Skills
4
Both must be enabled for your organization before plugin marketplaces are available. Check this under Organization settings in Claude Desktop.
5
Download the plugin .zip files
6
Go to kowalah.com/concierge-plugin and download all three variants (Executive, Manager, Professional). You’ll upload them together as a single Kowalah marketplace.

Upload to a marketplace

This is the fastest path and the one we recommend for rolling out Kowalah’s plugins.
Verify before you distribute. Organization-managed plugins get pushed to every member, so it’s worth confirming what’s inside before you upload, especially with any .zip from any vendor. Each Concierge Plugin is a bundle of Claude skills, which are plain markdown files describing behaviours Claude should adopt. You can check what’s inside two ways:
  • Visually — expand the .zip and browse the folder. Every skill is readable markdown.
  • With Claude — drop the expanded folder into a Claude conversation and ask “What does this plugin do?”. Claude will summarize each skill.
Once you’re satisfied, upload the .zip file, not the expanded folder. If you expanded the archive to inspect it, re-compress the folder into a .zip before uploading.
1
Open the plugins admin
2
In Claude Desktop, go to Organization settings > Plugins.
3
Start a new upload
4
Click Add plugins and select Upload a file as the source.
5
If this is your first time setting up a marketplace, Upload to a new marketplace is auto-selected. When uploading plugins later, you’ll also see an Add to an existing marketplace option so you can add more plugins to your Kowalah marketplace over time.
6
Name your marketplace
7
Enter a name, for example Kowalah Plugins.
8
Add your plugin files
9
Either drag the Concierge Plugin files into the upload area, or click the upload prompt and select them. Repeat for each of the three plugins you want to add. Each file must be a valid .zip under 50 MB.
10
Click Upload
11
All the plugins you’ve added are uploaded to your new Kowalah marketplace at once.
When Kowalah releases a new version of a plugin, upload the new .zip with the same plugin name and it overwrites the previous version automatically. You don’t need to delete the old one first.

Control who gets each plugin

Once the plugins are in your marketplace, you decide how each one is distributed. Open the marketplace and set an installation preference for each plugin:
PreferenceWhat members see
Installed by defaultPlugin appears in their installed list automatically. Members can uninstall if they want.
Available for installPlugin shows up in the catalog. Members install it themselves.
RequiredPlugin appears in their installed list and cannot be removed.
Not availableHidden from the catalog. Useful while you test or deprecate a plugin.
Changes take effect on each member’s next Claude Desktop session or plugin refresh.

A sensible default rollout

A pattern that works well for most customers:
  • Professional PluginInstalled by default for all members
  • Manager PluginInstalled by default for managers, Available for install for everyone else
  • Executive ConciergeAvailable for install, so leaders can opt in
On Enterprise plans you can take this further and set different preferences for different groups (see below).

Customize by group

Enterprise admins can override a plugin’s organization-wide setting for specific groups. For example, you can auto-install the Manager Plugin for an Engineering Leaders group and leave it as Available for everyone else.To set a group override:
  1. In Organization settings > Plugins, open your marketplace.
  2. Find the plugin you want to customize.
  3. In the Custom access column, click to add a group override.
  4. Select the group and choose one of the four installation preferences.
Both manually created groups and SCIM-provisioned groups from your identity provider work the same way.If a member belongs to multiple groups, the most permissive setting applies: Required > Installed by default > Available for install > Not available. This is different from spend limits, which use the most restrictive value. If you need to hard-block a plugin, set the org-wide preference to Not available and only grant access to specific groups.

Keep plugins up to date

When Kowalah releases an update:
  1. Download the new .zip from kowalah.com/concierge-plugin.
  2. In Organization settings > Plugins, open your Kowalah marketplace.
  3. Upload the new file. Because the plugin name matches, it overwrites the existing version automatically.
Members get the update on their next session or plugin refresh.
If your team also builds its own custom plugins, Claude supports syncing plugins from a private GitHub repository as an alternative to manual upload. That’s overkill for deploying Kowalah’s three plugins, but useful if you’re maintaining internal plugins alongside Kowalah’s. See Anthropic’s GitHub-synced marketplaces guide for setup steps.

What members experience

Once the plugins are uploaded and preferences are set:
  • Auto-installed plugins appear in each member’s installed list without any action.
  • Available plugins show up when members click Browse plugins in Cowork.
  • Required plugins are installed and cannot be uninstalled.
  • Organization plugins cannot be edited by members, which keeps coaching consistent across your team.
Members don’t need a Kowalah account to use the Concierge Plugins. To unlock the full experience, though, have them also connect the MCP connector so Claude can see their Kowalah projects, initiatives, and Expert Requests.

Troubleshooting

The file must be a valid .zip under 50 MB. Re-download from kowalah.com/concierge-plugin if you’re unsure the file is intact.
Check the plugin’s installation preference. If it’s Not available, members won’t see it. Also confirm Cowork and Skills are both enabled for your organization.
Changes take effect on each member’s next session or plugin refresh. Ask a few members to restart Claude Desktop if you need to verify the rollout.
