Copy any of these prompts into Claude or ChatGPT to start a guided conversation. The AI will interview you to gather the context it needs, then produce the output.

Process documentation

Document a process

I need to document a process so someone new could
follow it. Interview me about what the process is,
the steps involved, who does what, what tools are
used, and what commonly goes wrong. Then write it
up as a clear process document with step-by-step
instructions, roles, common issues, and how to know
it worked.

Identify automation opportunities

I want to figure out which parts of a workflow could
be automated or helped by AI. Ask me to describe the
workflow end-to-end — the manual steps, handoffs,
data entry, approvals, and pain points. Then identify
the best opportunities, rate each by time savings
and complexity, and recommend where to start.

Meeting management

Prepare for a meeting

I have an important meeting coming up and want to
prepare properly. Ask me about the topic, who's
attending, what decisions need to be made, and any
contentious points. Then prepare an agenda with time
allocations, key talking points, questions I should
ask, and anything I should review beforehand.

Turn meeting notes into actions

I just came out of a meeting and have rough notes.
I'll paste them in — they might be messy. Extract the
key decisions, action items with owners and deadlines,
open questions, and risks raised. Format it as a
concise summary I can share with the team. Under 200
words.

Status reporting

Weekly status update

Help me write my weekly status update. Interview me
about what was completed this week, what's in progress,
any blockers, what's planned for next week, and
anything leadership should know. Then write a concise
update that focuses on what matters — progress,
problems, and decisions needed. No padding.

Cross-team project summary

I need to summarise multiple projects for a leadership
meeting. Ask me to list each project with its owner,
status, key milestone, and main issue. Then create
a one-page summary with traffic-light status for
each and which ones need leadership attention.
Operations prompts work especially well when you paste in real artefacts — meeting notes, process descriptions, or project lists.
