This page is for attendees. If you’re going to a Kowalah training session, here’s how to get started. It takes under a minute, and you do it from your phone.

Check in

1
Scan the QR code
2
The room has a check-in screen showing a QR code for the day. Point your phone camera at it and open the link. Scanning is your check-in, there’s no sign-in sheet to fill out.
3
You can also go straight to training.kowalah.com if you can’t see the screen.
4
Sign in or sign up
5
If you already have a Kowalah account, sign in. If you’re new (most people are), create an account on the spot with your email, you’ll get a quick verification step.
6
Land in your training
7
You go straight to your day, only your group’s sessions, scoped to you. You’re checked in and ready.
When check-in works, you’ll see “You’re checked in.” That’s it, you’re on the roster for the day.

If you’re not on the list

You don’t need to have been pre-registered.
  • Walk-ins are welcome. If you sign in and you weren’t on the roster, you’re added automatically and flagged so your facilitator can sort your group. You’ll see a note like “Welcome! You weren’t on the list, so we’ve added you. Your facilitator will sort your group.”
  • If we can’t match you to the event, you’ll be told to see your facilitator, who can add you in a moment.
  • If the programme has already closed, check-in is no longer open. Speak to your facilitator if you think that’s wrong.

Attending more than one event

If you’re enrolled in more than one event, the link from the check-in screen pins you to the right one for the day. Using the day’s QR code always lands you in the correct event.
Keep the app open through the day. You’ll come back to it to rate yourself on the Claude Scale, take the knowledge checks, and leave feedback. The next page walks through each tab.
