Prompts by role
Everyone
Updates, accelerators, raising ideas, answering a discovery, your training, your AI tools, logging a win.
AI leads
For admins and core team. Run a discovery, triage the backlog, take the shortlist forward, review the programme.
Process owners
Read the map, diagnose a process, redesign it, set the quality bar, build your model from documents.
Security reviewers
For infosec, data protection and IT. Review the connector and plugin for approval, and fill in the checklist.
How to get good answers
Say “Kowalah” in the prompt
Say “Kowalah” in the prompt
Your AI tool has lots of tools and connectors switched on. Starting with “Use Kowalah to…” makes sure it reaches for your organisation’s data instead of answering from general knowledge. With the plugin installed, the skills also switch on by themselves when the conversation fits.
Use reference numbers when you have them
Use reference numbers when you have them
Kowalah understands its own identifiers, so “What’s happening with OPP-0142?” or “Give me the status of PRJ-0007” goes straight to the right record. A name or a rough description works too, it just has to search first.
Read the summary before you say yes

Kowalah asks before it changes anything: raising an opportunity, triaging a batch, editing a process, recording an outcome. It shows you what it’s about to do first. Check it, correct it, then confirm. For a batch, such as shortlisting ten ideas, it shows you the whole set before making any change.

Admins and core team see the whole programme and every opportunity. Members see the work they’re a stakeholder on and the opportunities they raised. Everyone can read the whole operating model, and what you can edit there depends on where you sit in it. If a prompt returns nothing for something you know exists, it’s usually a permission, not a missing record. See What your role changes.
Skills, slash commands and Claude Code
Skills, slash commands and Claude Code
The Kowalah plugin in Claude and ChatGPT includes the same 12 skills, such as
process-diagnostic, raise-opportunity and programme-review. You don’t need to remember them; the prompts on these pages trigger them. To call one directly, type / in Claude and pick it. In Claude Code the skills are namespaced, for example /kowalah:programme-review. See Kowalah Plugin.By department
A starting point for each function. Each one finds the friction in that team’s work, checks what Kowalah already has, and only then suggests something new.Sales
