# Set up in ChatGPT

> Access your Kowalah data from ChatGPT using the Kowalah MCP Server.

The Kowalah MCP Server can be connected to ChatGPT for access to your organization's data.

## Current status

The Kowalah MCP Server is fully supported in **Claude** (web and desktop). ChatGPT's MCP support is developing, and setup steps may change as OpenAI updates the feature.

## Alternative: use the platform

If MCP connectivity with ChatGPT is not yet available in your setup, you can:

* Use the [Kowalah platform](https://app.kowalah.com) directly for full access
* Use [Claude](/integrations/mcp/setup-claude) for MCP access
* Use the [Kowalah Agent](/integrations/agent/overview) in Slack, Teams, or Google Chat
